Hot Topic selling limited edition Xbox 360 Arcade

Posted by Jake Shaible | Posted in Xbox 360 news | Posted on 08-09-2008

With all the new Xbox 360 price cuts, even Hot Topic, which is a retail chain store that specializes in pop-culture attire, is getting into the Xbox 360 mix. They are currently selling a limited edition Xbox 360 Arcade system for $199. Although that price tag is similar to other Xbox 360 Arcade consoles, this limited edition from Hot Topic comes equipped with some goodies. First, this limited edition has a 20GB hard drive, as suppose to none with the original XBox 360 Arcade console. Additionally, the limited edition comes with a play and charge kit, a headset, and a stylish, Hot Topic-ish, Spartan Green paint job. Very nice! If one were looking for a deal on an Xbox 360, this is it.

New Street Fighter 4 Gameplay video

Posted by JR Writer | Posted in Xbox 360 Preview | Posted on 05-09-2008

A classic battle displayed on the new Street Fighter 4 engine. It is so reminenscant of my childhood arcade fiascos. I would play Street Fighter 2 for hours, feeding coins to the bottomless pit arcade machine. The dynamics displayed in this demo is almost overwhelming. From the clothing to the impact hits. Not to mention background action and special ability effects. This is a big comeback for the Street Fighter series and I believe it will live up to the hype.

According to Disney, the demo is to set place in Italy, the Mount Garda track. In the demo, gamers will be able to mix speed with tricks as they fight off 15 AI competitors to the finish. In the retail version, gamers will be able to build up their vehicles and play either against 15 AI competitors or 15 other gamers online.
