- Probably the greatest first person shooter title ever created Call of Duty Modern Warfare has a much anticipated sequal expected to again take the gaming genre by storm with COD: Modern Warfare 2. Here is some of the details that have been leaked thus far:
No Co-Op for story mode, but there will be Co-Op missions reminesant to the mile high club levels of old.
A live patching system will be implemented for online multi-player forgoing the need for a downloadable patch.
Game will run at a smooth 60 frames per second, and will have even greater detail than the first.
Riot shields, movable turrets, and customized weapons for single player enemies was mentioned.
Gameplay to be more open than COD4 but is still linear.
Stealth will be a more effective use on enemies.
Fixed enemy respawn issues (In COD4 enemies would constantly respawn unless you passed a certain trigger point on the map)
Single player campaign mode will be much longer than COD4
Vehicles will be introduced ( in my opinion vehicles in multi player mode is what ruined it for me when playing COD World at War, I hope they reconsider using it)
For those of you that have yet to see what this game looks like here are some shots below:

Plenty of people were awaiting lined up outside the door. Well as soon as I got it home I tore into it and loaded it up. The opening little movie sequence is worth checking out it definitely hyped me up even more to finally get in the cage. I went right into an exhibition match, I am a Rampage Jackson fan so naturally I picked him and of course I had to do a rendition of the Rampage V.S. Griffin fight so that was the match up. I was kind of disappointed there was no entrance animation for walking to the ring with your music blaring and the lights dimmed, but eh that’s just a small gripe.
