Check out this excellent Halo 3 Machinima. Most of them are just cheesy re-tellings with poor voice overs from gamers who have no dramatic flare. This version of 28 Weeks Later was created with Halo 3 and deserves some special recognition for its quality. This time around, the creators simply spliced actual movie audio but what is really amazing was the creativity of the cinematography. Working with limited resources, these fans were able to re-create the feel of 28 Weeks Later perfectly. Let us know if you guys have any other Machinimas you would like the recommend but we’re doubtful there are too many out there that can beat this one out.

Grand Theft Auto 4 created one of the most immersive cities ever seen in a videogame. The first DLC exclusive to the Xbox 360 was based around the biker gangs of Liberty City. Rockstar is going to depart from the grungy clubhouses and motorcycles of The Lost and the Damned and delve into the urban high class nightlife world of club owner Gay Tony. The players will play as Luis Lopez, a lowly henchmen for Tony “Gay Tony” Prince. It is expected that Niko Bellic will likely make a few cameos in this DLC as well. Sorry to all the people looking forward to some triad storylines! (Maybe it was just me…)

- Probably the greatest first person shooter title ever created Call of Duty Modern Warfare has a much anticipated sequal expected to again take the gaming genre by storm with COD: Modern Warfare 2. Here is some of the details that have been leaked thus far:
No Co-Op for story mode, but there will be Co-Op missions reminesant to the mile high club levels of old.
A live patching system will be implemented for online multi-player forgoing the need for a downloadable patch.
Game will run at a smooth 60 frames per second, and will have even greater detail than the first.
Riot shields, movable turrets, and customized weapons for single player enemies was mentioned.
Gameplay to be more open than COD4 but is still linear.
Stealth will be a more effective use on enemies.
Fixed enemy respawn issues (In COD4 enemies would constantly respawn unless you passed a certain trigger point on the map)
Single player campaign mode will be much longer than COD4
Vehicles will be introduced ( in my opinion vehicles in multi player mode is what ruined it for me when playing COD World at War, I hope they reconsider using it)
For those of you that have yet to see what this game looks like here are some shots below:
-One of the most anticipated movies of this year Terminator Salvation will also make a smash on your home gaming consoles soon enough. I am excited to see that it seems they may have finally got a good looking solid sequel to the original movie, as for the game we will just have to wait and see…In the mean time peep out the awesome trailer below.
The main character does not seem to resemble Christian Bale but the game play looks to be killer and exciting! can’t wait for a demo of this to hit XBox Live.
- So it has finally happened! UFC 2009 the game has finally hit the shelves and yours truly was one of the first in line at the midnight release at a local Gamestop. Plenty of people were awaiting lined up outside the door. Well as soon as I got it home I tore into it and loaded it up. The opening little movie sequence is worth checking out it definitely hyped me up even more to finally get in the cage. I went right into an exhibition match, I am a Rampage Jackson fan so naturally I picked him and of course I had to do a rendition of the Rampage V.S. Griffin fight so that was the match up. I was kind of disappointed there was no entrance animation for walking to the ring with your music blaring and the lights dimmed, but eh that’s just a small gripe. Beginning Tuesday, February 24, the Variety Map Pack will be priced at 50% off the normal 800 / $10 admission fee. Then, on Friday, February 27, Infinity Ward will welcome gamers into the multiplayer mix by flipping the CoD4 double XP switch to the “ON” position. Finally, fourzerotwo himself will be pulling an all-nighter Friday night and adding a new Hardcore Headquarters playlist for the double XP killing shenanigans. It’s a week-long Call of Duty 4 party, just without the booze, party streamers and all the post-party cleanup.

Warriors.. Come out to Play-ay! This is by far one of my personal favorite games. If you were like me and got a chance to play The Warriors game on the last-gen consoles, you were able to run around with your warrior gang and destroy the city while battling rival gangs. Looks like we will get another run at this with the new OXM. The game will be released by a new developer CTXM, NOT rockstar. We will see if they can do the same things that rockstar did with the cult classic. Keep a look out for a release date and we will update here also.

With Grand Theft Auto 4, Rockstar promised exclusive downloadable content with the Xbox 360. The first downloadable content pack known as “The Lost and Damned” is listed at $19.99 or roughly 1600 Microsoft points. Peter Moore, once the head of Microsoft’s interactive entertainment division had stated that this is more than just a few additional cars, it will be an epic release with a completely new storyline centered around Johnny Klebitz of the Lost Boys biker gang that Niko had some interaction with during the campaign for GTA4. Look for the expansion to appear on Xbox Live around mid February.

The price of the Microsoft Xbox Hard Drive 120 GB has dropped to to half of its original price. The 120 GB hard drive debuted with the Xbox 360 Elite system and the price for the hard drive alone was $150 but now Circuit City (probably in a move of grave desperation) has lowered it to $79.96. In case you still don’t know, Circuit City has been on the brink of bankruptcy for a while now and even with the loan from Bank of America has not been doing too well through this holiday season. The Xbox 360 hard drive is probably one of the best deals the store currently offers so if you’re looking to add to your 360, now is a great chance.

Microsoft has been under some heat ever since documents revealed that the company was aware of the Xbox 360 design flaw that made game disks susceptible to scratches during play. Microsoft Xbox users often complain about the console’s tendency to put the ring like scratches (picture above) in their games and so far Microsoft has been very elusive on the subject. Microsoft has just recently responded to the allegations by stating that they have put a warning that the console should not be moved during play and that such a move would make any console put scratches in a disk. Microsoft has further stated that they did put a clear warning label that must be removed before play.
