He knew what he was doing and planned to make it look like a Murder Suicide what kind of kid does that to his parents. Sure at one point or another we all claim to hate our parents but we don't go around killing them. He is sick and needs to face life in jail with out getting out at all. I say if he can do this to his parents, then he will get out and do this to others. I Also read that his family forgave him, what are they thinking? He'll go back and finish them all off. I don't think this had anything to do with the game. The game is just the lawyer’s way of trying to get him off for killing his parents. Everyone blames TV, Movies and Games for people killing people. They want to say these people don't have a mind of their own and don't know from right to wrong. I say BS.
